Field Service Technician
ANDRITZ Bitrode Corporation is a manufacturing company focused on battery testing equipment. They are seeking a Field Service Technician to commission and troubleshoot machines at customer sites, ensuring products meet specifications and quality requirements while building customer relationships. Responsibilities Commission and troubleshoot our machines in the field at customer sites Learn each product's specifications in-house prior to travel Perform services duties while building a relationship with the customer to increase our service business Ensure products meet customer specifications as well as any safety and quality requirements Troubleshoot various electrical problems by thinking critically to solve complex problems Recognize and report quality issues through the correct channels as they arise Calibrate our products for the customer Test our products at power levels up to 600VAC 3-phase and 2000VDC Record data, write reports, and process paperwork accurately Use multi-meters, HiPot test equipment, digital oscilloscope, PC based monitoring, and variable transformers Travel to customer sites to service or commission our machines Make scheduled flights and drive to various locations in the USA/aboard on your own Professionally represent ANDRITZ Bitrode while at the customer Skills Ability to travel domestically and internationally for service calls (travel up to 50% of the time) Minimum of a two-year degree in Electrical Engineering or similar electrical knowledge Schematic reading and knowledge of electrical/electronic circuitry is essential Ability to use shop and hand tools to work on equipment Ability to troubleshoot customer issues via email, phone, and onsite Previous knowledge and experience with multimeters, voltmeters, HiPot test equipment, and oscilloscope preferred Any experience in electrical product testing would be amazing!
