Finance Specialist - Disbursement Management and Control

The Finance Specialist will support the US Disbursement Management and Control team by maintaining procedures and controls for disbursements, ensuring the integrity of accounts payable services, and assisting in various financial processes. Responsibilities Review and accurately process U.S. Office invoices, including Global Services and Alternate Businesses, ensuring appropriate approvals and coding in compliance with BCG cost coding guidelines Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools to communicate findings to stakeholders Assist in Vendor File maintenance including creation and update of vendor and employee records Complete monthly deliverables with Sales Tax reporting for the Tax Department Manage the monthly Rent reconciliation alongside our US DMC Finance Senior Analyst Effectively communicate and interact in a professional manner with other local offices and departments within the company. Respond in a timely manner to inquiries from local offices, internal stakeholders, and vendors Handle any priority and time-sensitive requests and coordinate with the requestor and the US DMC team if any rush payments are needed Assist in training Co-Ops and any new US DMC team members Assist as needed in the disbursements process to ensure all deadlines are met including month-end close and payments Prepare and process invoices using Web ADI uploads Assist in maintaining AP procedures and making sure all documentation is current Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as needed including back-up for others on the team Skills Bachelor's Degree or higher with strong accounting skills and 1-3 years experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a drive to provide a high level of customer service Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements Ability to work effectively with other teams and all levels of the organization Ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Continuously looking to identify and drive opportunities to improve processes Understanding the big picture and being able to apply that to the task at hand Strong organizational skills and being able to work well independently as well as with other stakeholders Working with a team and being able to take the lead in working through problems Benefits Zero dollar ($0) health insurance premiums for BCG employees, spouses, and children Low $10 (USD) copays for trips to the doctor, urgent care visits and prescriptions for generic drugs Dental coverage, including up to $5,000 in orthodontia benefits Vision insurance with coverage for both glasses and contact lenses annually Reimbursement for gym memberships and other fitness activities Fully vested Profit Sharing Retirement Fund contributions made annually, whether you contribute or not, plus the option for employees to make personal contributions to a 401(k) plan Paid Parental Leave and other family benefits such as elective egg freezing, surrogacy, and adoption reimbursement Generous paid time off including 12 holidays per year, an annual office closure between Christmas and New Years, and 15 vacation days per year (earned at 1.25 days per month) Paid sick time on an as needed basis Employees, spouses, and children are covered at no cost.
