Financial Analyst

Working within the international finance team, this role will support the business operations of the EMEA and America’s regions and include the following responsibilities: Review of customer contracts and guidance on revenue recognition in line with US GAAP and company policy. Partnering with the regional sales, services, finance and accounting teams to produce: Monthly financial forecasts and variance analysis / insights Quarterly and annual reporting as required Annual budgets and rolling forecasts Evaluation of performance for various parts of the business segments Providing inputs for cashflow forecasting and analysis. Calculation of sales commissions. Compliance with SOX controls for the organisation. Liaising with internal and external auditors. Working with team members, Business Operations and Business IT for continuous improvement. Other ad hoc analysis and reporting as required. Desired Education/Experience Qualified accountant / finalist stage of accounting qualification At least 3 years of professional experience in finance & accounting required, preferably within a multinational environment. Experience with interpreting complex multi-element customer contracts. Experience with reviewing and assisting in applying revenue recognition policies. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting and Finance, with advanced skills preferred in Excel / Oracle Financials / Power BI / TM1. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and relationship building skills. Ability to manage/prioritise multiple projects and meet tight closing deadlines. Ability to work independently and within distributed team environments.
