Hear more about MGT’s culture in the words of our employees. WHAT YOU’LL DO: MGT is seeking a Sr. Analyst/Manager, FP&A to join our Finance team located at our Tampa, Florida office or remote. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a dynamic corporate finance and accounting team at a growing professional services firm. The Manager of FP&A will support planning for key business processes, role requires strong financial reporting, planning, modeling skills and solid business judgment. The position also requires the ability to understand the big picture of the Company's financial model, while being detail oriented. In this role, you will: • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives. • Generate comprehensive financial reports and present findings to senior management, providing strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections. • Analyze complex financial data and extract relevant insights to support business decisions. • Assist management with assessment of revenue recognition accounting implications for new business proposals, business combinations, new products, and services. • Conduct variance analysis to understand trends, risks, and opportunities in the business. • Own the development and enhancement of current management reports. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiency and profitability. • Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards using Power BI to provide real-time visibility into business performance. • Participate in continuous improvement activities to exceed customer expectations and promote a professional finance organization. • Support strategy to driver curiosity and improve efficiency. • Ad hoc and special projects as needed. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Five (5) or more years of progressive professional experience in corporate finance • Experience presenting analysis and insights using excellent oral communication and written business narratives • Ability to pursue information independently to self-educate and develop solutions • Ability to manage, prioritize, and multi-task on multiple projects and priorities • Self-starter who anticipates the needs of management • Advance Microsoft Excel skills (macros, complex formulas, etc.) • Skilled in Financial Analysis, building financial models. • Experience with NetSuite financials and reports • Should be Tech Savvy.
