Fractional CTO for Community based start up - Contract to Hire
Job Description: We’re building a fast-moving community based learning platform and are looking for a Fractional CTO who can work on-demand, take true ownership, and help us go from 0 → 1 → scale. This is not a passive advisory role. We need someone who can think like a founder, guide architecture, make product-driven tech decisions, and work closely with design and development, handle product and advise us on demand. Key Responsibilities: -Own the technical architecture from MVP to scale -Guide and review development work hands-on -Translate product vision → technical execution -Make scalable system design decisions early -Lead sprint planning, tech roadmap & delivery -Ensure security, performance, and reliability -Act as a true technical co-pilot, not just a coder Must-Have Requirements: -Available on-demand for urgent decisions & reviews -Based in India or Pakistan -SaaS experience -Proven experience taking products from idea → MVP → scaling -Strong product & system thinking -Ownership mindset (you care about outcomes, not just tasks) -Comfortable working with early-stage ambiguity -Strong communication in English Nice to Have: -Experience with marketplaces, communities, subscriptions, or EdTech -Prior startup or founder-level experience -Experience working with remote teams Engagement Details: -Hourly Rate: $7-10/hr -Long-term potential -Flexible but high-accountability -Immediate start preferred To Apply, Please Include: - 2–3 SaaS products you’ve worked on (with your role) -One example where you helped scale a product technically -Your weekly availability (hours) If you’re a hands-on Fractional CTO who loves ownership and building from scratch, we’d love to speak with you.
