Job Summary As a Freight Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving process. You will be responsible for loading and unloading freight, ensuring accuracy in documentation, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Key Responsibilities Loading and Unloading Freight : Load and unload freight with efficiency and care, ensuring that all shipments are properly secured and handled. Documentation Accuracy : Ensure all shipments are accurate and properly documented, including verifying weights, dimensions, and contents. Workspace Organization : Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the warehouse and loading docks. Forklift Operation : Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move freight and inventory. Inventory Tracking : Assist in tracking inventory and reporting discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory levels. Safety Protocols : Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting safety incidents. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent : A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
