Full-Stack Engineer – Fitness App Stabilization & GCP Deployment
Job description: I'm rebuilding a mobile-first fitness app and need a developer who’s completely comfortable working in a **GCP + GitHub** workflow. The immediate milestone is to stabilize the current build: fix critical pagination bugs on the workout history feed, resolve environment variable issues breaking the API, and deploy a clean, production-ready version to **GCP** with **Cloud Build** integration and automated production pushes. The first core feature to reinforce is secure email-and-password user authentication. I’ll provide the UI designs and copy; you’ll wire up the back-end logic, tighten validation, and ensure password resets perform quickly and safely. If you’ve implemented social login (Apple/Google) before, let me know—those could become follow-up tasks once the base auth flow is bulletproof. Code quality matters to me. Please work in a feature-branch model, open pull requests for review, and keep everything TypeScript-strict and lint-clean. I’ll handle product direction; you focus on solid, testable code and a deployment pipeline that’s rock-steady even under peak load. Deliverables: • GitHub repo configured with **Cloud Build CI/CD** to **GCP** (Cloud Run/App Engine) • Production-ready deployment on GCP with fixed pagination and resolved bugs • Email/password authentication flow, including validation is fully functional, test its operating properly. Fix issues if need be. • Brief README explaining setup, environment variables, and how to run the project locally If you’ve shipped similar health/fitness or SaaS projects on **GCP**, share a link and a short note on your role. Looking forward to collaborating remotely and moving fast on this relaunch. Apply tot his job
