Full Stack PHP Developer at US- SaaS ; Remote Ukraine and Poland

Position: Full Stack PHP Developer at US-based SaaS Company (Remote Ukraine and Poland) Our software company is actively seeking a Full Stack PHP Developer with experience in Symfony, Vue.js, Postgres, and MySQL. This is a full-time, permanent, remote position, and we're particularly interested in candidates from Ukraine. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable web applications using PHP (Symfony) and Vue.js • Develop, optimize, and maintain robust back-end services, APIs, and database interactions (Postgre SQL & MySQL) • Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces with strong attention to front-end quality and usability • Implement and enforce best security practices across the entire software development lifecycle to safeguard data and applications • Write high-performance code for applications that must scale efficiently to handle heavy data and large user bases • Leverage modern coding standards (OOP, MVC, REST) and participate in code reviews to ensure high quality • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Design) in Agile sprints • Proactively diagnose, debug, and solve application and performance issues Experience and Qualifications • 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer (PHP) • Expert proficiency in Symfony (or similar PHP frameworks) and Vue.js (or major JS frameworks) • Strong experience with Postgre SQL and MySQL, including complex SQL queries • Advanced front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, UI/UX best practices • Commitment to secure authentication, authorization, and data handling methods • Familiarity with RESTful API development and third-party integrations • Experience using Git/version control and Agile development tools, and AI code assistants • Must be fluent in Russian (required) and have strong verbal and written English communication skills. • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to own projects from concept to deployment • Experience writing and optimizing high-performance applications requiring scalability is a huge plus Bonus Points • Experience working for a technology product or SaaS company. • Experience with Docker, AWS, or CI/CD pipelines • Familiarity with unit/integration testing frameworks • University degree • You love playing chess and solving puzzles The Opportunity At Pitchbox, we understand that outstanding individuals might not always fulfill every requirement listed in a job description.
