Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Fullstack Developer to join our team at Canibuild. You’ll work across our applications, tools, and services, collaborating with engineering, product, and design teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performance solutions. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in TypeScript with React and Node.js , follows performance best practices, makes smart use of AI tools to improve deliverables , and has a proactive mindset for adopting new technologies and cloud-native solutions. Roles and Responsibilities Maintain and enhance web applications built with React + TypeScript . Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js (Express/Nest.js) with TypeScript (mandatory). Contribute to backend services using Python (FastAPI) where applicable. Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve Canibuild applications and web services. Apply performance best practices across both frontend and backend. Actively use AI tools/solutions to improve development efficiency, code quality, and deliverables. Rapidly prototype applications to showcase new concepts and ideas. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders. Suggest new technologies and approaches to improve scalability, performance, and developer efficiency. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of team workflows. Accurately estimate effort and timelines for development tasks. Work independently with clear reporting, while contributing effectively as part of a global team. Requirements 5+ years of professional software development experience. 3+ years of hands-on experience with: Frontend : React + TypeScript (mandatory). Backend : Node.js (Express/Nest.js) with TypeScript (mandatory). Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern development practices. Solid understanding of HTML semantics and CSS , with proven experience in responsive, cross-browser, and cross-platform design. Experience identifying and resolving compatibility issues across devices and browsers. Practical knowledge of frontend and backend performance optimization techniques. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines , NPM package development, and working within monorepo environments . Good exposure to AWS services for deployment, monitoring, and scalability. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in distributed teams. Strong problem-solving skills, accountability, and ability to deliver results on time. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Willing to work 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM IST, Monday to Friday . Remote, full-time role. Immediate joiners preferred. Nice to Have Python (FastAPI) experience in backend services. Experience with GeoSpatial web applications (e.g., Leaflet.js, Cesium). Exposure to the real estate or construction industry .
