Role Description: As a Functional Analyst at Capco, you will work closely with clients in the Financial Services industry. You will collaborate with Business, Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to analyze and translate business needs into technical requirements, particularly in the context of financial instruments and securities trading regulations (tax-related skills are not required). You will also be responsible for supporting testing activities, including the coordination and execution of UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and SIT (System Integration Testing) phases, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions in an agile environment. As part of the consulting team, the Functional Analyst will: Define and document high-level epics, features, and user stories to support value-driven solutions that address business needs. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure backlog items reflect the right mix of people, processes, technology, and dependencies. Align deliverables with user journeys and target operating models. Identify and communicate risks, issues, and interdependencies across the project lifecycle. Recommend process improvements and support the business in implementing and validating changes. Skills and Experience To qualify for the role you must have: Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst in the Financial Services and/or Consulting industry. Solid knowledge of financial instruments and of regulations related to securities trading , with particular focus on post-trade processes . Practical experience in UAT and SIT management , particularly in regulatory or financial contexts. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative delivery models. Ability to manage stakeholders effectively, including both technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to different functional levels and business areas. Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Management Engineering Knowledge of Design Thinking methodology Agile Certification Why join Capco?
