Fund Development Coordinator

The Fund Development Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting fundraising strategies through data management, reporting, and donor engagement activities. Responsibilities Maintaining and interpreting donor and campaign data Developing queries and reports Supporting donor research Ensuring CKUA’s fundraising systems are organized, consistent, and ready to support both annual giving and major gift activity Help build CKUA’s capacity for data-informed fundraising by managing and interpreting information that supports donor engagement, campaign planning, and decision-making Developing queries and dashboards Maintaining accurate constituent and campaign records Preparing reporting materials used across the Fund Development team Support the Centenary Campaign and related major gift activity through data, research, and coordination Assist with donor research using screening tools and public sources Prepare briefing notes and meeting materials as needed Track campaign activity Ensure donor records reflect key interactions and next steps Support the preparation of proposals, gift agreements, and analytical materials that inform campaign planning and reporting Contribute to initiatives such as 50/50 raffles, third-party giving, grant coordination, and campaign events Ensure data is collected, organized, and documented in a way that supports accurate reporting and meaningful evaluation Strengthen CKUA’s ability to understand donor behaviour, forecast progress, and steward supporters with accuracy and care Skills Experience with fundraising databases or CRM systems such as Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, DonorPerfect, or similar Comfortable developing queries, building reports, and maintaining structured information architecture Experience with data segmentation, dashboards, wealth screening tools, or donor research platforms Effective communicator who can synthesize information into briefing notes, research summaries, or reporting materials Experience with campaign analytics, major gift support, prospect research, or reporting functions in a nonprofit or fundraising environment Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize complex information, and maintain accuracy while working within tight timelines Comfortable coordinating with colleagues across departments and providing reliable documentation Background may include work in nonprofit fundraising, data analysis, research, marketing operations, CRM administration, donor relations, or administrative roles with a technical focus Ability to build positive, respectful relationships and approach work in a way that reflects CKUA's values of Community, Diversity, Inclusion, Creativity, Curiosity, and Authenticity Benefits Comprehensive benefits package including a pension plan Creative, community-focused workplace Strong benefits program Company Overview Founded in 1927, CKUA is committed to inspiring and connecting people through the power of music, arts, culture, and story.
