The Global Ethics and Compliance Program Manager plays a critical role in shaping the Circana Global Ethics and Compliance program (“E&C Program”). This position requires a combination of strong collaboration and project management skills, and the ability to drive change across a fast-paced global organization. In this role, the Global Ethics and Compliance Program Manager will work across a broad spectrum of risk areas and activities covering all the elements of an effective ethics & compliance program as set forth by the US Department of Justice. Successful candidates will lead with curiosity and be experienced at taking complex E&C concepts and translating them for a wide audience. The Global Ethics and Compliance Program Manager will lead or support risk management efforts in areas such as ESG / sustainability, anti-bribery and anti-corruption and conflicts of interest. Building sustainable long-term programs to manage these risks will require creativity in developing new policies, new ways of training and communicating, and new metrics for measuring progress. This role will report to the Vice President, Global Ethics & Compliance and will support the Company’s compliance team as well as collaborate closely with other leaders, corporate business functions, and other stakeholders. Job Responsibilities E&C Program Development Create business cases for new E&C program investments and coordinate with internal partners to pilot new E&C technology platforms, new types of training, and new controls • Support the build out of Circana’s Enterprise Risk Management program, including identifying new risks, coordinating with risk owners, and producing Board-level trend analysis • Develop and own the long-term strategy for ESG at Circana, including coordinating with key stakeholders to produce Circana’s annual Corporate Sustainability Report • Manage the process and ecosystem around all of Circana’s ESG certifications and external reporting (e.g., EcoVadis, CDP, CA SB 261 and SB 253), including ongoing materiality assessments for ESG-related risks • Coordinate with both internal and external partners to build out Circana’s third party risk management (TPRM) program, including due diligence and anti-corruption-related controls • Manage and develop Circana’s policy management process to drive accessibility, readability, and consistency across all of the company’s key guidance documents • Own internal E&C reporting and executive-level dashboards and assist in assessments and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of the Company’s ethics & compliance program • * Proactively monitor developments and changes to applicable guidance (e.g., DOJ, OFAC) and make recommendations applicable to the operations and strategy of the Compliance Program Employee Engagement and Business Partnership Shape and develop the communication strategy for launching new E&C guidance and initiatives to Circana employees across the globe • Assist in the design and development of company-wide E&C education, including experimenting with new training delivery formats (e.g., workshops), employee focus groups, and new communication channels • Lead the implementation of a Speak Up program, including owning the Speak Up Policy, creating new processes and protocols for internal investigations, and tracking KPIs to show continuous improvement • Assist in developing the culture and values of the company to include ethics & compliance standards that further enhance Circana’s image and reputation • Learn Circana’s products inside and out and develop the ability to spot and consult on Ethics & Compliance risks • * Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert (SME) for the commercial teams on ESG and Ethics & Compliance questions from clients Requirements • Minimum of 5 years Ethics and Compliance experience with in-house program management and/or management consulting experience preferred • Bachelor’s Degree • CCEP or related certifications preferred • Experience working with Ethics & Compliance technology platforms, especially case management tools, and proficiency using AI in day-to-day work • Experience with corporate ESG or sustainability programs and key metrics (e.g., tracking Scope 1-3 emissions) • Passion and enthusiasm for ethics and compliance work, including the ability to translate E&C concepts for a wide audience; ability to teach others with a “show not tell” mindset • Exceptional project management skills • Superior oral and written communication skills • Self-starter, strong sense of judgement, attention to detail, resourcefulness and ability to prioritize multiple projects within a fast-paced environment • Ability to lead with and defend a recommendation to an executive audience • Ability to make solid judgment calls under pressure • Strong people and change management skills Circana Behaviors As well as the technical skills, experience and attributes that are required for the role, our shared behaviors sit at the core of our organization. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $90K-105K This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
