About The Position We’re seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer with experience designing innovative, “must click” YouTube thumbnails for the various clients and brands. The right candidate is someone with a passion for digital media, how it's consumed, and the visual languages that keep viewers coming back for more. This is a role for someone who wants to work collaboratively with data analysts to hypothesize, ideate, create and test to find what design styles and decisions engage our audiences the most and who is comfortable working with a wide variety of clients and visual styles. Please note that this position is a part-time (approx. 20 hours per week), freelance role. It is estimated to run for 6 Months with the potential of transitioning to full-time once the contract ends. Key Responsibilities • Own the thumbnail design process -- from concept & pitch all the way through final approvals for various clients. • Collaborate with the Strategy team to track performance, a/b testing results and make data-informed decisions that increase CTR. • Stay current on design trends and best practices within the thumbnail space. • Partner with Strategy to ensure continued optimization and refreshing of the content libraries. • Ad-hoc duties as assigned. Requirements • 2-3 years of YouTube thumbnail design experience for a similar company, Creator or MCN • Internet Obsessed and plugged in to the design trends that make people click • Ability to work in a fast paced environment creatively and effectively. • Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite • Collaborative and communicative, able to work with varied levels of management, peers and talent across various teams. • Excited to work with multiple brands and visual styles. • BA/BS preferred.
