Head of Talent & Brand Partnerships [Remote]
About the Role We’re building a next-generation platform at the intersection of comedy, creator economy, and online shopping — where emerging comedians help brands showcase products through entertaining, authentic, short-form content. We’re looking for a driven operator to join the founding team and lead both talent partnerships and brand relationships. You’ll be building the human side of the business while the technical co-founder builds the platform. What You’ll Do • Recruit and onboard emerging comedians (starting with NYC scene) • Build partnerships with comedy communities, agents, and creators • Pitch and close sponsorship deals with DTC brands and agencies • Negotiate partnership terms and pricing models • Collaborate on creative formats for sponsored comedy content • Build scalable onboarding playbooks for both creators and brands • Serve as the business face of the platform You Might Be a Fit If You Have: • Experience in talent management, influencer marketing, creator economy, or DTC partnerships • Strong network-building and deal-closing skills • Empathy for both creators and brands • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Comfort working in early-stage, fast-moving environments • Passion for comedy, creator culture, or both Bonus If You Have: • Experience with platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Patreon, Jellysmack, or influencer agencies • Familiarity with NYC comedy scene or independent DTC brands • Previous startup or marketplace experience Why Join • Early equity ownership and major influence on business direction • Build something fresh, meaningful, and fun at the intersection of multiple fast-growing industries • Work directly with a technical founder committed to rapid product execution • Huge opportunity to help emerging comedic voices monetize their work in new ways Compensation • $60k–$100k+ depending on experience and performance Note: Posting is subject to change so please refer to career site for latest availability (SBJ-G337).
