Health Care Business Analyst Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Healthcare Business Analyst with experience gathering and documenting requirements for IT projects aligned with Healthcare operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience analyzing healthcare workflows, data mappings, system integrations, pharmacy/supply chain processes, and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities • Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements. • Support projects related to healthcare operations, medical supply chain, pharmacy systems, data integration, and regulatory compliance. • Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data mapping documents. • Partner with technical teams for solution design, integration specs, and interface requirements (API, EDI, SFTP feeds). • Perform gap analysis between existing systems and new solutions. • Support UAT planning, test case creation, and defect triage. • Analyze healthcare datasets, product information, and operational workflows used by our Healthcare client. • Ensure requirements adhere to compliance standards: HIPAA, FDA validation, SOX, GxP. • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, demos, and requirement walkthrough sessions. • Act as a liaison between business teams and IT development teams. Required Skills & Experience • 6 10+ years of BA experience in healthcare, life sciences, or medical supply chain. • Strong understanding of: • Healthcare product data • Supply chain workflows • Pharmacy operations • Data migration & data feed requirements • EDI transactions (850, 810, 856, 867 etc.) • Experience documenting API/EDI interface requirements. • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall environments. • Proven ability to interact with both technical teams and business users. • Excellent documentation and communication skills. Preferred Experience • Experience in Healthcare ecosystem or similar organizations. • Familiarity with systems such as: SAP, Oracle EBS, WMS, Serialization systems, Inventory/Order Management, Regulatory systems. • Experience working with master data, product catalog updates, pricing changes, UOM conversions.
