The Health Information Reporting Assistant will support the coordination of workstation moves, maintain databases, and assist with service audits and program evaluations to enhance the efficiency of the Health Information Team. Responsibilities Helps to coordinate the systems access and movement of staff within Millard Health which includes the movement of computer equipment, telephones, ergonomics, facility planning and construction. As well, may assist with the quarterly lease return process of computer equipment including location verification, approval process and hardware listing updates Maintains the Millard InfoNet database with resources and tools for Millard employees Provides support to monthly audit services by compiling and summarizing the results from monthly audits Provides accurate and timely monthly data extractions while complying with contractual requirements Coordinates missing data reports and circulates to appropriate staff to ensure data is accurate Conducts audits of program evaluation reporting for quality assurance and data integrity purposes. Ensures data reporting meets contractual requirements Other duties as required Skills High school diploma and a degree or diploma in the areas of health information management, business, data management, and/or quality assurance. A combination of experience and education will be considered Advanced experience with SPSS, MS Excel, MS Word along with knowledge of Adobe Acrobat X Pro Proficient with computer systems as it relates to extracting data and information through queries and reports to accurately translate business requirements into technical requirements in a manner easily understood by technical resources Data and statistical analysis experience is an asset Knowledge of POPA and HIA legislation including confidentiality rights as well as the access and disclosure of records Excellent verbal and written communication skills The ability to accommodate multiple priorities while accurately completing tasks is imperative Benefits Comprehensive benefits package Flexible work schedules Hybrid work opportunities Company Overview WCB-Alberta provides a cost-effective insurance system to employers and workers against the impact of work injuries or illness.
