High School Biology Tutor Needed

Title: High School Biology Tutor (Remote) Description: We are seeking an experienced and engaging High School Biology Tutor to work with highly motivated students on core biology concepts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching, can explain complex material clearly, and knows how to tailor instruction to a student’s learning style. The tutor will help reinforce classroom material, clarify challenging topics, support homework and test preparation, and build the student’s confidence in biology. Responsibilities: - Provide one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions - Explain key biology concepts clearly (cell biology, genetics, evolution, ecology, etc.) - Assist with homework, labs, quizzes, and exam preparation - Identify knowledge gaps and adjust teaching strategies accordingly - Encourage strong study habits and scientific thinking Requirements: - At least a Bachelor's degree in Biology or equivalent from a T20 university - Strong background in high school–level biology (college-level coursework preferred) - Prior tutoring or teaching experience - Ability to explain concepts in a clear, patient, and approachable manner - Reliable internet connection and comfort with virtual teaching platforms - Organized, responsive, and dependable Nice to Have: - Experience tutoring AP Biology or honors biology - Background in education, biology, or a related STEM field Schedule & Pay: - Flexible scheduling (typically 1–2 sessions per week) - Competitive hourly rate based on experience To Apply: Please include a brief description of your biology background, tutoring experience, and availability.
