Role Description The Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) is a C‑Suite–level position responsible for the strategy, quality, and evidence base of Protocall’s clinical products and services. This position reports to Protocall’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CCO oversees Protocall’s integrated clinical vision and brings forward insights from advances in suicide prevention, crisis intervention, digital health, TeleHealth, and related behavioral health domains relevant to Protocall’s market. The CCO provides clinical leadership for Protocall’s evolving product ecosystem, ensuring that clinical strategy informs product development, integration, and innovation. The CCO also serves as a public clinical representative of Protocall, contributing to the organization’s external credibility and influence across the behavioral‑health landscape. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the CCO contributes to creating and maintaining an organizational culture that supports excellence, accountability, and alignment with Protocall’s mission and values. The CCO shares executive‑level responsibility for contributing to organizational strategy, providing cross‑departmental guidance, and ensuring that programs and processes align with company goals. Key measures of success include: • Internal and external clinical quality reviews • Clinical outcome measures • Financial outcomes tied to clinical strategy • Customer satisfaction and retention • Workforce engagement and retention Qualifications • Master’s degree or higher in a behavioral health discipline with current license, or ability to obtain license within 90 days • Minimum ten years of leadership experience in behavioral health and fifteen years clinical experience • Nationally recognized expertise and leadership in one or more of Protocall’s market domains (e.g., higher education, 988, community behavioral health, managed care, EAP), including contributions such as published work, national presentations, participation in standards‑setting bodies, or leadership within professional organizations • Demonstrated prior responsibility for developing, overseeing, or stewarding budgets within clinical, operational, or programmatic areas • Demonstrated accomplishments in collaboratively shaping/designing clinical care, systems, and standards in the evolving mental-health/behavioral health space • Experience supporting sales and customer‑success conversations from a clinical perspective • Flexibility for travel 10-15% of schedule and ability to provide rapid responsiveness in support of 24‑hour operations Requirements • Expertise in behavioral health issues and interventions relevant to Protocall’s market segments • Knowledge of emerging best practices in clinical models, suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and behavioral health delivery nationwide • Strong understanding of behavioral health system transformation, healthcare reform, and evolving technologies in behavioral health delivery • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills • Proven ability to make effective presentations and align diverse stakeholders • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑moving, mission‑driven environment • Demonstrated ability to provide clinical thought leadership and to translate clinical insights into organizational strategy Company Description Protocall Services Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
