While the ideal candidate will be based in Europe, we are also open to applicants located in the United States. Salary range: $105,000 - $130,00 The base salary listed is a range. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others). In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a bonus, providing the opportunity to earn additional compensation. Our Culture of Care – Zinpro® Position Summary The Global Sustainability Project Manager acts as the operational engine behind the Sustainability strategy. While the Director sets the vision, the Program Manager translates it into action—coordinating across departments, tracking metrics, and ensuring initiatives get implemented. Is the linchpin—someone who can mix strategy, execution, and stakeholder alignment. Essential Functions • Co-coordinate external partnerships with Sustainability Director (NGOs, certifiers, consultants) • Follow and raise internal awareness among key teams (legal regulatory, finance) of evolving international ESG regulations and standards: GRI, SASB, CSRD, and SEC rules. • Help foster a sustainability culture through internal and external engagement: build trust and alignment across internal teams and external partners, host workshops, share key industry insights. • Help different departments translate technical sustainability concepts into clear, inspiring messages. • Create reports, presentations, and campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences. • Ability to advocate for sustainability in executive meetings and public forums. • Help identify new technologies, partnerships, or business models that support sustainability. • Think creatively about circularity, decarbonization, and resource efficiency. Develop and monitor execution of ESG project plans, timelines, and budgets. • Coordinate cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to enable and track organizational alignment with ESG objectives and drive continuous progress toward meeting ESG milestones and goals. Track and measure sustainability projects across multiple departments: supply chain, operations, HR, IT, etc. and prepare reports for stakeholders and regulators. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements, build tools, and facilitate activities that support delivery of ESG program objectives. • Create dashboards, reports and presentations to communicate project progress and recommendations to various stakeholders and leadership. • Proactively identify potential project risks and roadblocks, deploy mitigation strategies, and work with ESG leadership to resolve issues in a timely manner. Qualifications Minimum Required: • Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, public policy, environmental sciences, data science or related field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG and project management • Proven track record of success in delivering results, leading and working with global and cross functionals teams across multiple disciplines. • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with clear timelines and KPIs. • Ability to see the big picture and connect sustainability goals to business strategy. • Experience managing external agencies and consultants. • Understand interdependencies across departments, supply chains, and regulations. • Translate long-term climate and ESG goals into short-term, actionable plans. • Proficient in ESG metrics, carbon accounting, and sustainability reporting frameworks (SBTI, GRI, SASB, CSRD). • Skilled in using dashboards, spreadsheets, and analytics tools to track impact. • Able to interpret complex data and present it in a compelling, business-relevant way. • Product Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) experience • Experience with AI platforms and smart use of technology to gather intelligence and expedite deliverables. • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both oral and written) • Strong leadership, planning, project management and execution skills • Experience managing budgets, developing business cases and ROI models. • Proven adaptability with a high sense of urgency and comfort working with ambiguity; fast learner who identifies and gains knowledge necessary to be successful. • Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills • Critical thinking ability, independently and proactively identify problems, propose solutions and execute. Preferred: • Strong Knowledge of the European sustainability landscape and regulations • Experience or exposure to the Agriculture and Food businesses Work Environment and Physical Requirements While the ideal candidate will be based in Europe, we are also open to applicants located in the United States. This job operates in a professional corporate office environment. Preferred location – Open to candidates in Zinpro’s global footprint with the ability to work remotely. Schedule Requirements This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel Requirements This position requires an estimated 20% travel, but it may be higher depending on business needs. Required travel for global meetings, customer visits and other internal meetings.
