Role Description This role involves supporting projects and audits by ensuring data and technical requirements are met under the direction of the Director of Internal Audit. • Use SQL and various systems to pull all data samplings needed for Internal Audits. • Create spreadsheets, charts, and graphs for Internal Audit activities. • Perform research on Client CAPs and establish a Root Cause with analysis. • Assist in performing Security and IT related Internal Audits. • Conduct Internal Audits for access control on all Verisys Systems. • Maintain Rosters and spreadsheets for Client CAPs and ensure they are up to date. • Complete risk-based projects in a timely manner and with high accuracy. • Ensure data is stored consistently with all Verisys Policies. • Perform training on Internal Audit Tools and Verisys Systems for employees. • Perform QA on data sampling completed by Internal Auditors. • Assist Internal Auditors in completing data-driven or high-risk audits. • Manage day-to-day Internal Audit activities in an organized manner. • Ensure proper documentation of evidence on all audit-related activities. • Follow all policies and processes for the Internal Audit Team and Verisys. • Ensure confidentiality on all information encountered during audit activities. • Perform all Internal Audit activities with an unbiased perspective and professionalism. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications • Internal audit or quality assurance experience (minimum of 3 years preferred). • Expert level in Excel and bolthires Sheets (minimum of 3-5 years preferred). • Proficient in SQL query writing with experience. • Sharp eye for detail and ability to bolthires deviations, abnormalities, and anomalies. • Strong analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills. • Ability to take ownership and initiative on tasks. • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively. • Strong data analytical skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Requirements • At least three to five years of experience directly related to the duties specified. • High school Diploma. Preferred • Cybersecurity auditing experience, preferably HITRUST. • Healthcare industry experience. • Knowledge of health care credentialing. • NCQA and URAC credentialing verification standard knowledge.
