Hiring YouTube Storyboard Artist for Disturbing Lore & Internet Mystery Videos - Contract to Hire
We’re hiring 3 Storyboard Artists who will craft high-impact thumbnail concepts. You won't make the full thumbnail. Instead, you'll give photos/panel ideas to our designer. You'll work under the manager and with our media team, turning video scripts into strong thumbnail ideas. This job mixes creativity and teamwork. What you’ll do: -Create shot-by-shot storyboards (8–20 panels/video) with camera notes, pacing, and simple arrows for movement. -Propose 2–4 thumbnail concepts per video: quick roughs + written rationale + rights-safe references. -Follow our style guide/checklist; name files cleanly and deliver on schedule. Deliverables & pace: -Per video: 8–20-panel storyboard + 2–4 thumbnail concepts. -Format: PDF (storyboard) + a page of thumbnail roughs with notes & references (Figma/PSD/PDF). -Turnaround: first pass within 24–48h; revisions same/next day.
