Industrial Designer (Injection Molding Expert) – Braille Educational Device
Project Overview We are developing an educational device for teaching Arabic Braille to visually impaired students. The product is a plastic molded board that contains Braille cells, training areas, and numbers. We already have the concept and specifications, and we now need a professional Industrial Designer to convert the concept into a manufacturable 3D model. What We Need We are looking for an experienced Industrial Designer with strong expertise in: Plastic product design Injection molding best practices 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar) Designing child-safe educational products Creating clean, high-quality 3D renders Scope of Work The designer will deliver the following: 1. Concept Development Refine the product structure and layout Design aesthetics and ergonomic considerations 2. 3D Modeling Full 3D Model of the Braille educational board All components modeled accurately Proper wall thickness, draft angles, and manufacturability guidelines 3. Exploded View Full exploded diagram showing all parts and how they fit Will be used for mechanical engineering and manufacturer communication 4. Manufacturing Considerations Design compatible with plastic injection molding Positioning for ejector pins, parting lines, and flow direction Recommendations to improve durability and production cost Deliverables 3D CAD files (STEP, STL, Source file) Exploded view 2–3 high-quality rendered images Short notes on DFM (Design for Manufacturing) improvements Job Requirements Proven experience with injection-molded plastic products Portfolio showing past work in product design Strong command of CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, etc.) Ability to follow engineering and Braille dimension standards Attention to detail and tactile-product design experience (preferred) Project Duration 2 weeks (from contract start) Apply tot his job
