Title: Innovation Advisor Location: Remote (Johnson Space Center, TX) Clearance: National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) with ability to obtain a Security Clearance Citizenship Requirement: US Req #: 3968 Salary: $119K- $134K Summary: Craig Technologies has an opening for an Innovation Advisor at Johnson Space Center, TX. Detailed Description: Job Summary The purpose of this position is to provide critical expertise and project coordination at NASA-JSC in support of the Center of Excellence for Collaboration for using open innovation tools across NASA and the federal government. This position is a teleworking position that requires occasional travel. Incumbent must have a technical background, preferably with scientific and/or engineering experience or expertise, be process oriented with an attention to detail, and be able to work independently and as part of a team. The Open Innovation Advisor will oversee multiple projects and work with teams across NASA and the Government to use open innovation tools to meet their technical and non-technical needs. Responsibilities • Manage the full lifecycle of the NASA Tournament Lab toolkit for multiple projects from inception to close-out for NASA and other Government Agencies. • Identify, evaluate, and recommend innovative methodologies and tools and/or platforms that support strategic initiatives. • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives that align with Program Management strategy and goals. • Assist with benchmarking activities, including the analysis of trends/report out of data systems. • Coordinate with team members in support of Inter-Agency Agreements and funding documents for projects. • Coordinate with public affairs officers in support of strategic communications. • Support the development, maintenance, and implementation of the NASA Open Innovation Academy. • Attend and/or present at conferences and other meetings or site visits as required. Position Requirements: Education/Experience • BS degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent technical discipline or experience • 5-10 years of experience that led to increasing levels of responsibilities. • Prior experience successfully working with multiple customers and/or stakeholders in parallel • Prior project management experience • Familiarity with Software/IT architectures, data systems, and development methods Skills/Training • Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and maintain customer satisfaction • Proven ability to learn and adapt to multiple software tools, such as Microsoft Office products, Google Workspace, and Salesforce • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently with minimal direction List any required Security Clearances and/or Certifications if applicable • Must Pass a NASA Background Check • Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance • Must be a US Citizen Craig Technologies is an EEO Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, or any other non-job-related protected status.
