Inside Sales
George T. Sanders Company is seeking an Inside Sales Clerk who is familiar with company pricing procedures and has good product knowledge in plumbing and heating. The role involves assisting the Outside Sales Team, managing customer communication, and generating quotes based on customer requirements. Responsibilities Functions under and reports to the Inside Sales Lead Must be capable of doing take-offs submittals, quotes and multi-tasking Must be responsive to customers and Outside Sales requests, concerning costs and availability Keep in contact with customers regarding quotes, status of PO’s, and various other issues Must be educated with market and competition pricing Must keep an open line of communication with customer and co-workers Generates electronic quotes based on customer bill of materials and drawings Develops and maintains a quote log Keep daily logs of current bid list and the status Transform quotes into actual orders Produce non-stock purchase orders Assist Outside Sales in generating commercial quotes and sales Skills Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to type Plumbing component experience either in sales, purchasing or manufacturing Familiarity with blueprint drawings Good working knowledge of the plumbing and heating industry Must work well under pressure Company Overview Colorado’s Premier Plumbing, HVAC, and Industrial Supply Partner Since 1950 George T.
