Instructional Designer (Remote from US)

As an Instructional Designer, you will create engaging, high-quality learning experiences for adult learners, translating complex concepts into clear, accessible content. You will develop self-paced courses, video tutorials, walkthroughs, assessments, and supporting materials that align with learning objectives and drive measurable outcomes. This role requires close collaboration with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to identify education gaps and design solutions that empower users. You will manage the full content lifecycle, from initial design to updates and evaluation, ensuring consistency, effectiveness, and visual appeal. Accountabilities: • Design and develop engaging self-paced learning content for external audiences, including scripts, video tutorials, walkthroughs, and certifications • Collaborate with SMEs to create learning objectives, course curricula, and supplementary materials such as tutorials and interactive exercises • Build assessments aligned with learning objectives and track course effectiveness through metrics • Maintain, update, and improve course materials, including visual aids, graphics, and videos • Assist in LMS administration and support course lifecycle management • Conduct needs analyses across teams to identify educational gaps and develop solutions • Evaluate the effectiveness of content and recommend enhancements for continuous improvement Requirements: • 5+ years of instructional design experience, including creating self-service training content • Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Camtasia, Articulate), LMS administration, and video creation/editing • Graphic design skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar) • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and best practices • Experience conducting needs analyses and creating content from scratch • Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver high-quality solutions independently and collaboratively • Attention to detail and commitment to producing effective, engaging educational content • Experience in software training or front-end development is a plus Benefits: • Competitive compensation and bonus program • Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision) • 401(k) with match (US) or pension with match (UK) • Flexible vacation or 25 days off (UK) and additional time off for birthdays and volunteering • $200/month Live Your Best Life stipend for personal enrichment • Employee resource groups and team/company-wide events • Opportunities for professional growth and career development Why Apply Through Jobgether?
