Intake Coordinator Behavioral Health - Remote (Candidate must reside in NM, TX, WA, UT, or DE)
About the position The Intake Coordinator is an independently licensed mental health professional who provides initial (both psychosocial and diagnostic) assessment, case management, short-term interventions, triage, and referral services to all potential client calls to the PMS Behavioral Health program. Responsibilities • Provide initial psychosocial and diagnostic assessments. • Conduct case management and short-term interventions. • Perform triage and referral services for potential client calls. Requirements • Minimum of Master's degree from an accredited college or university. • Three years of experience in the mental health treatment field. • Minimum of one year of assessment/intake/triage experience for a full caseload of clients or for an agency. • New Mexico State licensure as a Master's level mental health counselor or social worker is required. • Must be independently licensed in New Mexico as an LPCC, LISW, LCSW, LMFT, and/or LPAT. Nice-to-haves • Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
