Integration Architect
Position: Integration Architect Under the supervision of the Director of Software Engineering, the Integration Architect is responsible for developing the roadmap for implementing, maintaining, and supporting interfaces between external and internal customers and Monogram Health’s integration platform. This includes automation, applying best practices, design, implementation, support of interfaces, and some operational work. Engages and communicates with stakeholders to assess their needs and determine technical requirements. Works closely with technical teams and acts as subject matter expert for the integration team during troubleshooting sessions. Proficient in change management. Acts as mentor and aids engineers in resolving critical issues. Occasional off-hours support is sometimes required. Roles and Responsibilities • Lead the design and development of various application integrations including Athena Health, Rhapsody and external vendors (e.g. HIE’s) • Analyze environment to identify critical deficiencies and recommend improvement solutions • Ensure the architecture of the integration solutions is optimized for performance and maintainability • Provide the roadmap with clearly defined milestones, enabling the engineer to tackle tasks more easily • Create, present, and maintain program design, artifacts like data flow diagrams and end users process maps • Setup and help configure integration tools or platforms necessary to implement bi-directional applications and EHR connectivity • Review all project-related design documents and ensure alignment with enterprise software development standards including change management • Configure interface monitoring options and review and ensure all error messages are addressed according to service level agreements (SLAs) • Provides guidance and mentor engineers navigating complex building stages • Collaborates with clients to gather and understand their business requirements and translate them into functional specifications • Lead authentication and security strategy for connections between internal and external systems • Participate in integration testing with internal application and with external third-party external applications • Provide on-call support for production performance/availability or other critical issues Position Requirements • 8+ years of HL7 experience (version 2.x/version 3) • Knowledge of HL7 Integration Engine Platforms • 8+ years of interface support/ troubleshooting experience • 8+ years of experience with XML/JSON • Working knowledge of CDA (Clinical document architecture) Standards • Strong understanding of Rhapsody integration engine Benefits • Comprehensive Benefits - Medical, dental, and vision insurance, employee assistance program, employer-paid and voluntary life insurance, disability insurance, plus health and flexible spending accounts • Financial & Retirement Support – Competitive compensation, 401k with employer match, and financial wellness resources • Time Off & Leave – Paid holidays, flexible vacation time/PSSL, and paid parental leave • Wellness & Growth – Work life assistance resources, physical wellness perks, mental health support, employee referral program, and BenefitHub for employee discounts About Monogram Health Monogram Health is a leading multispecialty provider of in-home, evidence-based care for the most complex of patients who have multiple chronic conditions.
