The Channel Sales Program Team enables the Akamai Sales organization to achieve its go-to-market objectives. Shaping strategic process, analytics and technical transformation programs. Partner with the best As a Channel Sales Intern you will guide new customer sales by phone and support the full sales cycle. You’ll be generating new business through outbound calling, email, inbound inquiries and supporting marketing events. Articulating the Akamai value proposition, you’ll generate interest and enthusiasm for our solutions in the market. As a Channel Sales Intern, you will be responsible for: Collaborating on the development, execution and maintenance of project documentation (executive summaries, reports, project plans, scope log, etc.) Providing work direction for assigned projects, including assignment of work and follow up on the status of requests and tasks. Making sure cross-functional project teams are supported to achieve their tasks efficiently and effectively (i.e. removing roadblocks, etc.) Supporting Sales Program management with the creation of presentations for various management and team meetings Assisting with analysis of existing processes and identification of opportunities to improve efficiency Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Be pursuing a Bachelor’s and returning to the program after completion of the internship Demonstrate interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse corporate and client environment Have an advanced English level Be a self-starter with a curious mindset Be a problem solver with the ability to quickly identify issues and propose solutions Work in a way that works for you Our intern program in Brazil lasts 12 months, usually with the possibility to extend for an additional 12 months while students finish their studies. Interns work 30 hours per week and can work remotely. Intern positions are paid and will also receive a transportation allowance and meal stipend.
