As an International Relations Office Assistant, you will be working closely with a team of 14-16 people, supporting the development and delivery of international engagement with academic partners and overseas governments. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the IRO team, ensuring the smooth operation of the office and the delivery of high-profile events and programmes. Liaise with staff and students across the organization, using your excellent communication skills to build strong relationships and resolve queries. Undertake a wide range of administrative tasks, including data management, event planning, and correspondence. Demonstrate a proactive approach to work, meeting deadlines and contributing to a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Work flexibly across different team activities, welcoming change and adapting to new challenges. Maintain a professional standard of work, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: Experience working in a customer services role, providing excellent support to clients and stakeholders. The initiative and enthusiasm to take part in aspects of assisting with the operation of a busy office. Ability to maintain a professional standard of work whilst contributing to a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Ability to take a proactive approach to work and meet deadlines. Confidence to work with a range of colleagues, of varying seniority, both within and external to Workwarp. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects. Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following qualifications and skills will be considered advantageous: Knowledge of international relations and global affairs. Experience working in an administrative role, supporting a busy team or office. Familiarity with event planning and management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
