Investment Analyst

The Investment Analyst plays a critical role in the analysis of consumer complaints, conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses to achieve fair case resolutions. Responsibilities The Analyst conducts qualitative and quantitative analyses by assessing consumer investments and portfolios and comparing this to a consumer’s risk tolerance and investment objectives If issues are identified, the analyst is responsible for quantifying damages To assist in their analysis, the analyst will be required to use Bloomberg, Refinitiv and Microsoft Excel Skills Strong knowledge of the capital markets Advanced financial analysis skills Experience using Bloomberg Experience using Refinitiv Strong command of Microsoft Excel Superior communication skills Enrollment in the Chartered Financial Analyst program with the completion of level I Benefits Comprehensive group benefits program Company contributed pension program Company Overview OBSI is Canada’s trusted independent dispute resolution service for consumers and small businesses with a complaint they can't resolve with their banking services or investment firm.
