Back to offers Investment Banking Associate - Industrials Corporate & Investment banking Apply Permanent contract New York, New York, United States Salary from 104,000 to 200,000 Reference 25000L9F Start date 2025/12/29 Publication date 2025/10/14 Responsibilities Industrials banking is a core business line of GLBA, and is responsible for the origination and execution of all investment banking transactions by Societe Generale Americas. The emphasis will be the broader sector within Investment Banking. This will include equity origination [IPO’s Follow-Ons], M&A and Leveraged Finance debt origination. The group is fully integrated into the broader bank and will work closely with our product group and on a cross border basis with groups in Europe and Asia. • Work closely with ECM, DCM & M&A to organize our content and focus on the Industrials sector, including peers comps, trading activity and transaction comps • Keep abreast of market developments, capital markets activity, M&A announcements and investor sentiment around Industrials. • Point person on the coverage team responsible for organizing and putting together client presentations, marketing materials and relevant pitches for new business • Conduct and model a broad range of corporate financing alternatives and due diligence for client transactions • Financial modeling and valuation analyses as well as software specific analysis such as relevant KPI analysis • Develop and participate in client pitches to advise on investment banking transactions • Work on/play a key role transaction execution • Build strong relationships with colleagues in Europe and Asia, and among the U.S. banking teams Profile required Technical Skills: • Proficient in financial analysis such as DCF, DEV, LBO, comparable companies, etc • Expertise in all necessary software programs (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) • Experience in working with MDS platforms, e.g. Bloomberg data, CapIQ, Factset Competencies: • Strong oral and written presentation skills • Ability to work in a team structure as well as independently with initiative • Capacity to understand complex financial structures, strategy, and competitive positioning • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, pressure orientated environment and deliver under tight deadlines • Solid understanding of software metrics, companies, and investors Experience Needed: • At least 3 years of prior relevant experience Educational Requirements: • Bachelors Degree or higher level from a competitive program with a preference for degrees in business, finance and/or accounting Business insight Societe Generale is committed to offering an inclusive recruitment experience to all candidates.
