As an iOS Engineer Intern, you will collaborate with senior team members to develop and implement new features, contribute to the Tinder codebase, and work on systems that handle billions of data events daily. Responsibilities Collaborate on the development, implementation and functionality of Tinder's newest features and platform architecture Build robust, lasting, and scalable products that serve millions of users Work on systems that handle billions of data events a day Leverage large scale multi-channel communications to keep users well-informed (push notifications, emails, in-app messaging, and more) Write unit and integration tests Skills Aspiring iOS developer who's excited to work on large scale challenges with cutting-edge technology Proficiency in coding with Swift Foundational knowledge of basic Computer Science principles: data structures and algorithms Currently pursuing a BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field Prior Internship or work experience on a native mobile application Completed mobile project experience (i.e. hackathons, personal projects, GitHub, Open Source, volunteer coding experience etc.) Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as MVC, MVVM, Viper etc Aware of native app development tools/concepts like xcode, core data, core animation, dependency injection, combine, swift UI, UI kit etc. is not required but a bonus Company Overview Tinder anonymously finds people nearby that like each other and connects them if they are both interested.
