IT Contract Manager
The IT Contracts Manager is responsible for the lifecycle of technology contracts and agreements for all Technology vendors that access, transmit, or host client data, or provide IT contingent workers. Act in a consulting capacity with business owners regarding vendor management processes, business needs, and required documentation. Foster ongoing partnerships with Legal, Risk Management, IT Finance, and IT Security. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the potential to go full-time in the future. You will be able to work from home as long as you are in the Denver Metro area. Duties include, but are not limited to: · Serves as a point of contact for Technology Vendors on behalf of the organization · Manages contract renewals, extensions, terminations, and new business for all technology vendors · Lead contract negotiations with vendors (i.e. renegotiations, extensions, terminations, and new business) · Educate business owners on the VMO role and process · Provide input on the VMO program, process, and procedures · Track and report on pending and completed work on a daily basis · Participate in scheduled intake meetings with key stakeholders · Adhere to our client’s legal guidelines · Analyze and identify additional agreements as needed · Coordinates Legal, Risk, IT Finance, and IT Security reviews · Perform onboarding of new vendor partners · Create and foster strong partnerships with internal Business Owner Partners · Support Information Security Governance · Other duties as assigned Preferred Experience: · Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent professional experience preferred · Expert in evaluating a broad range of technology investments with advanced critical thinking and analytical skills, providing our business partners with the greatest flexibility and solution options. · Demonstrated expertise in leading complex vendor negotiations. · The ability to challenge customer input to facilitate stronger outcomes. · Must exhibit efficiency, collaboration, candor, openness, and results orientation, be service-oriented and team-focused with a high degree of initiative and follow-through. · Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrable experience in preparing presentations to financial and business leaders, including senior management. · Proficient knowledge and use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, electronic signature software (DocuSign), and Smartsheet. · Independent in work ethic and thought process, needing little direction/supervision. · Positive attitude and strong team player with an eagerness to learn and add value to the organization. · Familiarity with the Information Technology environment · Demonstrated abilities to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy · Show tact, discretion, confidentiality, and good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters and documentation · Technology vendor experience · Procurement experience · Global company experience Compensation: This position is a long-term contract with benefits to include paid time off, holiday pay, medical, dental, and vision as well as 401k.
