IT Helpdesk Administrator

Easy Auto & Sunrise Acceptance is seeking a motivated IT Helpdesk Administrator to serve as the primary point of contact for staff IT support needs. This role is responsible for accurately documenting and responding to requests, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and providing support for company computers, software, printers, phones, and other devices. Act as the first line of support for all IT-related requests. • Document, prioritize, and manage service tickets. • Investigate and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure efficient resolution. • Contribute to improving the reliability, performance, and security of IT systems. Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. A college degree in Computer Science or related discipline is preferred. Technical Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network a plus but not required. Experience: At least one year of direct, on-the-job experience in at least one of the following areas is required: IT Helpdesk, PC Applications/OS Support, Application Development, Networking, and Customer Services. Experience working with Windows Server operating systems and Microsoft Access databases and related development preferred. Skills and Requirements: Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record required. Must possess the ability to read, write and fluently speak the English language. Practical knowledge in: Basic infrastructure maintenance, including UPS battery maintenance, diagnosing and replacing failed network cables, ethernet cards, and switches. Skill set in programming and Microsoft Access databases Knowledge of Hyper-V virtualization and virtual backup and recovery solutions. Working knowledge of networking, VPNS and Sonic wall. Must be able to make independent decisions when necessary; possess strong organization, math, and reading skills; be able to maintain confidentiality; ability to motivate and lead others; be highly detail oriented; be able to multi-task. Must be able to move frequently throughout the workday; be willing and able to work within and promote a team environment; and be able to interpret and follow the goals, objectives and guidelines of the Company. What We Offer: • This position requires a flexible schedule. Monday through Friday with some Saturdays and Sundays required. Occasional travel to our various locations may also be necessary.
