IT Training Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable IT Training Specialist. Job Summary The IT Training Specialist is responsible for training end users on newly implemented technologies and applications. This role supports new employee onboarding, post-implementation optimization, remediation training, and the development of training materials across multiple learning formats, including classroom, virtual, and self-paced learning. Key Responsibilities • Deliver end-user training using classroom, virtual, webinar, and eLearning formats • Support new employee onboarding and post-implementation training • Develop training materials such as participant guides, job aids, quick reference guides, and video tutorials • Create self-paced learning content using video and computer-based tools • Schedule and coordinate training sessions, classrooms, and resources • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and stakeholder discussions • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and make improvements • Assist with small project management initiatives • Investigate and help resolve intermittent technical issues • Stay current with technology and industry best practices Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in a related field • Minimum 3 years of IT training experience (healthcare experience preferred) • Strong knowledge of Cerner Ambulatory and Inpatient applications • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio • Ability to understand business and clinical workflows • Experience developing training materials and eLearning content • Experience using SnagIt or similar tools Preferred Qualifications • Experience training applications such as ServiceNow, Kronos, or Lawson • Experience in large, fast-paced project environments • Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills NOTE - This is 100% remote opportunity.
