Key Responsibilities As a blithequark contractor, your primary responsibilities will include: Providing exceptional customer service through inbound phone calls, chat messages, and email responses Assisting customers with their needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Working with a variety of clients, each with their unique products, services, and policies Collaborating with our team to ensure seamless communication and problem-solving Meeting or exceeding performance metrics and client expectations Schedule and Flexibility We understand that everyone's schedule is unique, and we offer flexible work arrangements to accommodate your needs. Our contractors typically work during weekdays and daytime hours, but we also offer opportunities to create a schedule that works best for you. With our flexible scheduling, you can balance your work and personal life with ease. Earnings and Revenue As a blithequark contractor, your earnings will vary based on the client, your performance, and the type of calls you receive. Our competitive hourly rates typically range from $14 to $20 per hour, with additional incentives available based on client and performance metrics. You will be paid for your work based on your phone call status, ensuring that you are fairly compensated for your efforts. Required Skills and Qualifications To succeed as a blithequark contractor, you will need: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Proven track record in customer service and delivering outstanding customer care Keen attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills Friendly, empathetic tone, and professional demeanor Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful mindset Proficient in using technology, including computer applications and software Technology and Equipment Requirements To ensure seamless communication and connectivity, you will need: A quiet and secure work environment during working hours A personal computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM (tablets and Chromebooks are not permitted) A wired USB headset with microphone for clear communication High-speed wired internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed for seamless connectivity A valid and up-to-date antivirus software installed A smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad for program work, along with an authentication app A Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system (some clients may accept AppleOS) Work Environment Requirements To ensure a productive and comfortable work environment, you will need: A quiet, uninterrupted space An organized desk area Important Information Please note that we are unable to work with contractors residing in Alaska, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Michigan, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC. Contractors must also successfully pass a criminal background check. Contractual Relationship The relationship between you and blithequark is a contractual relationship. You will remain an independent contractor for the duration of your program assignment. blithequark will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with blithequark. When you receive your contract, you will be asked to agree to have no claim against blithequark hereunder or otherwise for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker's compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.
