What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Answer inbound customer service calls and make outbound follow up calls in a professional and service-oriented manner
• Assist callers with questions, concerns, or problems, focusing on timely resolution
• Document all actions during the call in proprietary software
• Regular 1x1s and huddles with leadership for performance review and coaching

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Exceptional customer service skills with effective problem-solving abilities
• Professional and clear communication skills in English
• Ability to summarize call details for seamless handoff to the next team member
• Strong interpersonal skills to understand customer issues and needs
• Independent, flexible, and creative problem-solving abilities
• Ability to remain calm and de-escalate issues during calls
• Proficiency in interpreting and applying managed healthcare contracts
• Attentive listening skills
• Ability to articulate responses clearly with appropriate voice modulation

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• High school education or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in an inbound call center or customer service environment
• Knowledge of hospital patient account billing and 3rd party reimbursements
