We are seeking motivated and visionary interns to join our team in crafting Florida's first legislation dedicated to combating education censorship laws. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on our state's education system and champion the principles of equity, inclusion, and academic excellence. ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a semester-long internship with a stipend of $1000

Candidates local to Tallahassee, Miami-Dade, or Jacksonville are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Spearhead social media campaigns, including research, writing, design, videography, publishing, eblasts, content creation, and advertising

Monitor social media trends, including developments in design, applications, strategy, and innovation to stay relevant and effective

Track social media campaigns? key performance metrics to maximize results and report progress to management

Manage email and Slack channels, actively engage members and send reminders for upcoming events

Qualifications: ? Two or more years of relevant experience in social media marketing, social media team management, or a related role ? Proven knowledge and experience in the fundamentals of social media, graphic design, and the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite ? Demonstrated understanding of social media platforms, their unique audiences, and how to use them to maximize branding and marketing efforts ? Exceptional skills in time management, communication, and interpersonal relations ? Understanding and knowledge of LGBTQ+ history, SOGI, queer culture, sexual health, equitable access to education ? A portfolio that demonstrates your understanding of digital design, social media, and marketing ? Must be available for 10 hour work week with 1 weekly meeting
