Jr Digital Marketing Specialist

Position Overview Pure Content is a leading marketing agency based in Norwich, Norfolk, dedicated to helping brands enhance their online presence and specialising in digital marketing strategies including SEO, PPC, and content marketing. We are now looking for a motivated Junior SEO Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist in SEO, PPC (including search and social ads), content marketing, analytics and other digital marketing efforts to drive traffic, improve visibility and generate leads in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Key Responsibilities SEO & Analytics • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify ranking opportunities for clients. • Assist with on-page and technical SEO tasks, including metadata, schema markup, and site structure improvements. • Optimise website content for both search engines and user experience. • Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs. • Support link-building efforts through strategic outreach and content partnerships. Paid Media & Social Advertising • Assist in managing PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms. • Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, landing pages, and audience targeting. • Monitor campaign performance metrics and recommend optimisation strategies. • Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO and conversion best practices are applied. • Help develop and execute content marketing initiatives to improve organic visibility. • Assist in creating marketing reports that provide insights into campaign performance. General Digital Marketing & Problem-Solving • Identify gaps and opportunities in existing marketing efforts and propose solutions. • Stay up to date with SEO, PPC, and digital marketing trends, implementing best practices proactively. • Work independently on assigned tasks while contributing to team projects. Required Qualifications • Working knowledge of SEO principles (on-page, off-page, and technical SEO). • Experience running PPC advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads). • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar tools. • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website structures (preferred but not essential). • A proactive, self-starting attitude and eagerness to grow in a fast-paced digital marketing environment.
