Jr Enrollment Representative (Medical TPA)
The Jr Enrollment Rep is responsible for a select number of their own groups while continuing to support our Enrollment Department, Clients, and Brokers. This position requires strong administrative skills and attention to detail. This individual reports to the Enrollment Manager. Responsible for: • Enrollment • Processing enrollments, changes, and terminations to the claim system and other third-party applications • Assist with intranet set up • Adding new groups • Adding/disabling new HR and Broker contacts • Reviewing and posting monthly billing statements • Answering client and broker requests • Reviewing plan documents when questions arise • Reviewing CRM for outstanding questions from members • Portal set up • Adding and disabling contacts • Cross training on transitioning of new groups to PBA • Mapping eligibility files • Setting up system based upon group structure • EDI/834 electronic eligibility files • Process weekly files • Reviewing weekly reports • Cross training on EDI implementations • COBRA • Offering COBRA in accordance with the Plan Document • Entering paid through dates • Entering new groups and new rates • Flexible Spending Accounts • Entering/updating elections • Reviewing plan set up • Other duties as assigned. Skills required for this position: • 1-2 years’ experience in a third-party claims administration organization • 1-2 years’ experience with a claims system (Javelina a strong plus) • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management. • Must be a self-starter who is organized and able to handle multiple projects and due dates. • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new concepts/systems. • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills. • Must have a professional and responsible work ethic. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products. • Proficient with math as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Essential Functions Statement • The person in this position will work remotely and must have a dedicated space that is set free of distractions, quiet and private for HIPAA compliance. • The person in this position must demonstrate strong attention to detail to be able to properly maintain various reports and documentation, and coordinate system setups and networks.
