Junior Digital Designer - Foundation - Temporary full-time (Contract - 6 Months) - 2026-16052 (2026-16052)
Sunnybrook Foundation is one of Canada’s largest health science centres, impacting over 1.3 million patients annually. They are seeking a creative Junior Digital Designer to support their marketing team with content creation and design execution for various initiatives. Responsibilities Design high-quality, on-brand graphics for designated social media platforms, including RBC Race for the Kids and Sunnybrook social media channels Support the execution of social media content calendars by preparing creative assets for scheduled posts Adapt creative concepts into platform-specific formats while maintaining visual consistency and brand standards Collaborate with the marketing team to refine visuals based on feedback and performance needs Manage all image rendering requirements, including resizing, cropping, optimizing, and formatting digital assets for multiple channels Organize and maintain digital asset libraries to ensure files are accurately labeled, versioned, and accessible Design internal marketing, event, and operational collateral using Adobe InDesign, including signage, posters, presentations, and informational materials Support event-based marketing initiatives with timely creative production Ensure all materials adhere to brand guidelines and accessibility standards Skills 1–3 years of experience in graphic design, digital marketing, or a related creative role (including internships, freelance, or contract work) Demonstrated proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite Experience creating visual assets for social media and digital platforms Understanding of image optimization and digital file preparation best practices Strong attention to detail and an understanding of design principles and layout Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills Benefits HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan) Hybrid work environment with a minimum of two (2) days in office Additional Sunny Days (long weekend closures in advance of summer long weekends and Christmas Eve) for contracts longer than 1 (one) year in length.
