Junior-Mid Level Visual Designer with UX Skills
Our client, an agency serving the non-profit space, is looking for a Junior-Mid Level Visual Designer with UX Skills to join their team! This is a 20-hour-per-week assignment that is ongoing! Your portfolio must showcase the following: paid social creative, email systems, and light UX work (wireframes and rationale). Ideally, you will have a clear storytelling and results mindset. Responsibilities: • Design static ads, social posts, and reels/cutdown assets tailored to nonprofit audiences and campaign goals • Build and refine email design systems and templates that support fundraising, advocacy, and engagement • Create landing page visuals and conversion-focused layouts optimized for nonprofit campaigns • Own weekly and monthly design calendars across multiple nonprofit clients, ensuring timely delivery • Maintain brand consistency across all digital channels, adapting for each organization’s voice and values • Collaborate closely with channel specialists to translate campaign strategy into high-performing creative • Prep files for development or video editing as needed, ensuring smooth handoffs • Participate in client reviews, offering thoughtful rationale and incorporating feedback with care Qualifications: • 3+ years in digital design, with a strong portfolio spanning paid social, email, and brand design—especially for nonprofits, social impact, or community-driven organizations • Demonstrated UX experience, including the ability to translate user insights into intuitive layouts, wireframes, and conversion focused design solutions. • Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and email platforms like Klaviyo or Mailchimp • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple client priorities • Deep understanding of nonprofit audiences, campaign lifecycles, and the emotional nuance of mission-driven creative In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
