Job Description Summary Manage transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.). Job Description Essential Functions / Responsibilities: Work across multiple functions (Commercial, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Project Management) to reconcile multiple component lines of balance with project-based wind turbine demand to continually optimize the execution of the logistics portfolio. Manage material allocation and logistical activities to support wind turbine deliveries. Maintain the North America Allocation Model file. Provide continual guidance to the Commercial and Supply Chain teams to ensure optimal fulfilment of wind turbine project demand. Identify opportunities for improvement and take initiative to drive improvements. Maintain Key Performance Indicators to drive continuous improvement by building Supply Chain tools for optimizing the business strategies. Develop efficient and reliable strategies by partnering with different segments of the business such as Commercial, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics and Project Management. Create dashboards for analyzing the KPI while applying Lean principles to drive optimal business decisions. Create, automate, and optimize the Supply Chain tools for the efficient functioning of the business activities. Value Stream Map the current process and identify improvements using technology, data/visual analytics to create a digital platform for the development of the Allocation Model. Qualifications / Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Data Analytics. Three (3) years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials Planning, Project Management, Logistics Planning or a combination thereof. Employer will accept a Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Data Analytics and One (1) year of experience in Supply Chain, Materials Planning, Project Management, Logistics Planning or a combination thereof in lieu of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and three (3) years of experience as described above. Academic background, internship, or work experience to include: Manipulating large data sets using MS Excel, Tableau, or similar programs; Working in large cross-functional teams; Managing and planning project schedules; Visual Analytic tools including Tableau or Power BI; Create, modify, and maintain Visual Basic for Applications; SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, or other MRP or ERP software; Performance optimization, decision modeling, and scenario analysis. 100% remote position reporting to GE Vernova International LLC in Schenectady, NY. Candidate may live anywhere in the continental U.S. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $86,400.00-$143,900.00 annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 10% variable incentive compensation.
