Job Title: Lead, HR Continuous Improvement Job Location: Remote within United States of America Job ID: 30957 Job Schedule: 9/80 Regular Job Description: Reporting to the Sr Manager, HR Service Excellence, the Lead, HR Continuous Improvement is responsible for driving operational excellence, efficiency, and innovation across HR processes, systems, and employee experiences. This role combines expertise in Lean / Six Sigma methodologies, design thinking, blue sky thinking, and data-driven problem solving to streamline processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and design HR solution that are simple, scalable, and human-centered. The ideal candidate blends analytical problem-solving with creativity and facilitation skills, delivering measurable impact for L3Harris leaders, employees, and the HR function. Essential Functions: • Execute end-to-end process improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance HR processes, drive continuous improvement, and leverage technology to enhance the employee and manager experience in alignment with business and functional goals • Reimagine HR processes and experiences by incorporating user feedback and applying design thinking principles • Facilitate and host Kaizen workshops to identify root causes, co-create solutions, and drive rapid improvements • Ensure HR processes are efficient, effective, and compliant with legal requirements • Collaborate with HR team members and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and understand the impact of process changes • Develop implementation plans for new processes, including timelines, resources needed, and success metrics • Facilitate training sessions and create user guides to ensure smooth adoption of new processes • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of implemented processes, making adjustments as necessary to optimize performance • Stay informed on the latest HR trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure processes remain current and compliant • Facilitate training, coaching, and Kaizen events to build continuous improvement capabilities within HR teams • Champion a mindset of experimentation, collaboration, and shared accountability for better outcomes Qualifications: • Bachelor's with 9 years prior experience, Graduate Degree with 7 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience • Certified or demonstrated experience with Lean / Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred) Preferred Additional Skills: • Experience hosting or facilitating Kaizen workshops and cross-functional improvement events • Experience applying design thinking or human-centered design methods • Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills • Experience in project management and change management • Experience in and working knowledge of HRIS/HCM system, PeopleSoft is a plus • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and find effective solutions • Proficiency in analyzing data to identify trends, measure performance, and make data-driven decisions • Experience with collaboration and communication tools (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) • Strong communicator that can synthesize multiple sources of information to create clear, succinct responses • Proven ability in navigating and handling sensitive/confidential HR/employee information In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $98,500 - $182,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $86,000 - $159,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
