Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Lead Reliability Systems Engineer at our EPISCenter, you will play a critical role in developing and executing Reliability, Maintainability & Testability (RM&T) program plans. Your expertise and experience will be essential in leading the RM&T program execution, identifying design requirements, and developing practical and innovative solutions to meet these requirements. Your responsibilities will include: Generating RM&T requirements and allocating them to system, subsystem, and unit levels Performing RM&T analyses and predictions at the system, subsystem, and unit levels Conducting reliability prediction analysis using accepted methodologies and failure rate sources Performing Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis and Testability Analysis to support the design process Assessing maintainability/human factor design capabilities in accordance with MIL-STD-1472 Leading technical teams and guiding and influencing others to achieve business objectives Developing and executing objectives, solving problems, and affecting short-term and long-term business goals Essential Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, as well as a minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering role. You will also need to have a strong understanding of RM&T activities, industry standards, and associated policies and procedures. Additionally, you will be required to: Utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems and develop and execute objectives Have the ability to affect short-term and long-term business goals Be a U.S. citizen, as this role requires access to export-controlled technology Preferred Qualifications and Characteristics While not essential, the following qualifications and characteristics are highly desirable: Experience working with the development and analysis of electrical power generation and conversion products Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a demonstrated track record of leading technical teams Familiarity with reliability engineering practices and associated industry standards, policies, and procedures Demonstrated ability to perform RM&T analyses and develop and allocate RM&T requirements Understanding of circuit design and analysis, software design and verification, and complex logic design and verification Strong technical aptitude, including engineering tools and systems, and strong oral and written communication skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At General Electric, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
