The Lead Teacher Role: A Cornerstone of Our Success As a Lead Teacher at Childcare Network, you will play a pivotal role in our center's success, serving as a positive role model, and building meaningful relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Your genuine warmth, understanding, and commitment to early childhood education will make a tangible difference in the lives of young children. You will be responsible for: Creating and maintaining a safe, warm, and inviting classroom environment that is clean, organized, and conducive to learning. Communicating daily with families regarding student progress, needs, and achievements to encourage partnership and support. Developing strong professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote parent and community engagement. Maintaining a high-quality standard of care for every child by adhering to all minimum licensing, quality rated, and/or accreditation guidelines and company standards. Preparing and serving meals and snacks for children, ensuring their nutritional needs are met. Utilizing and adhering to the assigned classroom's daily schedule, incorporating our science-based, proprietary curriculum and suggested supplement activities to create a fun and engaging learning environment. Keeping daily records, including attendance, child portfolios, USDA documentation, and other records required by local agencies. Contributing to the center's success by partnering with team members and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditations, and family engagement. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful as a Lead Teacher at Childcare Network, you will need: A genuine warmth and understanding of the needs of young children and their families. A positive attitude and self-image with a commitment to innovation and creativity. Strong communication skills with coworkers, parents, and children. 1-3 years of teaching experience or certification (if not, we will help you obtain certification). A high school diploma or GED. The ability to pass the state-required criminal background check. Meet all state certifications and requirements. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Early childhood education certification or degree. Experience working with children aged six weeks to twelve years. Familiarity with our proprietary curriculum and educational programs.
