Legal Writer/Paralegal - Extraordinary Ability (Remote/Philadelphia)

Remote, USA Full-time
About the Role We’re looking for an exceptional paralegal with legal writing experience to join our growing immigration law practice. Hoga Immigration LLC provides extraordinary individuals and those working in the national interest with high-touch legal support, helping clients through this current challenging immigration climate. You’re a good fit for this role if you like variety and a challenge: every case needs a dedicated, tailored strategy and a unique narrative, and you will have extensive ownership over how our approach gets communicated to the reviewing officer. Care, communication, quality, and speed make up our mantra. What You'll Do You’ll help make our clients’ stories come alive, convincing both them and USCIS that they are beyond extraordinary. From leading AI/SAP/AV tech minds to award-winning artists, from pioneering startup founders to acclaimed researchers, you will be a fundamental part of each of these clients’ cases. You will be a part of the entire case’s lifecycle, from the case initiation to shipping the final product out the door, performing the following duties: · Prepare filings for EB-1A/B/C, O-1A/B, and EB-2 NIW petitions, as well as other NIV categories, and Adjustment of Status (AOS) applications · Help print and ship filings, process mailed notices from USCIS · Write compelling, detailed documents that advance our crafted legal argument clearly and persuasively · Be an active participant in how we can improve our work, our efficiency, and data · Work independently and on your own schedule · Be responsive and compassionate. Requirements We’re looking for someone with: · You MUST have 1+ years of immigration law experience · A Bachelor’s degree and/or a Paralegal Certification · A passion for argumentative writing, with meticulous attention to detail and strong research skills · A strong desire to be a team player: we’re assembling a tight-knit team, we want you to work with us, not for us! This role is fully remote, but with a strong preference for you to be physically located in Philadelphia, PA. Benefits Work-life balance is super important, and we’re not just saying that: this salaried position doesn’t nickel and dime your hours, we just want the work done and our clients responded to within our SLA. We offer: · Remote work – ideally you’re in Philadelphia, but feel free to plan in some working vacations. We’ll send you the tech you need. · A competitive, fair salary that appropriately accounts for your experience and time · Office closures on all US bank holidays, and full closure from Christmas – New Years (no need to eat into your PTO!) · Flexible PTO, you’re expected to take 20 days off in addition to the holidays above · Health insurance reimbursement We’re growing into a lean, mean team that does great work, truly cares about our clients, and embraces a work-life balance, so that we’re all happy and fulfilled by what we do. If this sounds like a good fit for you, please email your resume and let’s chat! Please email [email protected] with your resume, thank you. Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Opportunities for advancement • Paid time off • Work from home Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
