Licensed U.S. Attorney Needed – Medicare Enrollment / PEARC Representation (Short-Term)
We are seeking a licensed U.S. attorney to act as legal counsel and authorized representative for a healthcare entity in a Medicare enrollment appeal / PEARC matter. This engagement is limited in scope and short-term, primarily involving: - Providing a Statement of Representation - Communicating with CMS contractor (PEARC / C-HIT) on behalf of the provider - Assisting with administrative correspondence related to a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) and enrollment determination This is not litigation and does not involve court appearances; nor does it require any video conferencing or calls with the contractors. You will simply speak with and advice the client, and help them communicate via email to the medical contractors. Requirements: - Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction - Ability to provide a Statement of Representation - Availability to communicate promptly via email - Comfortable acting as legal representative for administrative Medicare matters Preferred (but NOT required): - Experience with Medicare enrollment, PECOS, CMS-855 forms - Healthcare, compliance, or regulatory law background - Prior work with CMS contractors (e.g., MACs, PEARC, C-HIT, Novitas, Palmetto) Engagement Details: - Immediate start - Flat-fee or hourly (please propose) - Estimated duration: 1–2 weeks - All documentation and background will be provided To Apply, Please Include: - Jurisdiction(s) where you are licensed - Brief description of relevant experience (if any) - Confirmation that you can act as legal representative in a Medicare administrative matter - Proposed fee structure Confidentiality required.
