Licensing Coordinator 1
Maverik is a company that offers adventures and is seeking a Licensing Coordinator to support its growing store network. This role involves managing licensing, permits, and renewals across various jurisdictions to ensure compliance and operational efficiency for store openings. Responsibilities Research federal, state, and local licensing requirements for new and existing store locations Prepare and submit accurate applications for licenses, permits, and certifications Track permit and license status, follow up with agencies, and escalate delays or risks Maintain organized records for licenses, renewals, payments, and changes Communicate with regulatory agencies regarding requirements, timelines, and issues Maintain daily reports and update licensing data in Agiloft and other tracking tools Support internal and external partners by responding to inquiries and resolving licensing issues Skills 1+ years in a licensing, permitting, compliance, or administrative coordination role Hands-on experience preparing and tracking permits, licenses, or regulatory documentation Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Comfort communicating with federal, state, and local agencies Experience maintaining records, reports, and tracking systems with high accuracy Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Clear, professional communication with internal teams and government agencies A proactive, self-directed work style with strong follow-through The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously A problem-solving mindset with comfort escalating issues when needed Experience using contract or case-management systems like Agiloft Background in retail, multi-site operations, or compliance environments Familiarity with licensing across multiple states or jurisdictions Benefits Full Health, Dental, and Vision Package with company contribution to cost In-Store and Fuel Discounts Retirement plan with company match (401K) Eligible for the annual incentive bonus program Profit Sharing: When Maverik succeeds, so do you Comprehensive Paid Time-Off Policy, along with additional perks and benefits Company Overview Kum & Go is a convenience retailer.
