Garfield Ave. 2nd Floor, Alhambra, CA 91801 Description About the Role: As a Manager – Strategic Initiatives in the Office of the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s most important strategic priorities. You will work directly with the President & CEO and senior leaders across Astrana Health to design, manage, and deliver high-impact initiatives that drive growth, efficiency, and innovation. This role is designed for someone who is intellectually curious, relentlessly resourceful, and thrives in fast-moving, complex environments. Unlike traditional corporate roles, this position requires a sense of urgency, intellectual agility, and comfort with ambiguity. You’ll be expected to lead projects end-to-end, manage cross-functional teams, and develop frameworks that influence decision-making at the highest levels of the company. The Opportunity: • Join a high-visibility team as a core member of the Office of the President & CEO. • Lead cross-functional projects tied to acquisitions, technology integration, data & analytics, and value-based care expansion. • Drive initiatives that sit at the intersection of strategy, operations, finance, and technology, with direct exposure to executive decision-making. • Be part of an organization that is rapidly scaling nationwide while pioneering innovative risk-based healthcare models. What You'll Do • Lead the design and execution of cross-functional initiatives that are critical to Astrana’s growth and operational success. • Serve as project owner for high-priority efforts, from new market entry to post-acquisition integration, ensuring alignment with CEO-level strategic objectives. • Collaborate with senior leadership across Operations, Clinical Services, Analytics, Finance, and Business Development to drive initiatives to completion. • Build and manage workflows, processes, and frameworks that can be scaled across the organization. • Conduct analyses, develop business cases, and prepare executive-level presentations that inform strategic decisions. • Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and solutions to keep projects on track in high-stakes, fast-paced environments. • Mentor and provide guidance to Analysts and Associates within the Strategic Initiatives team. Qualifications • 3–6 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, healthcare operations, or a similar high-performance environment. • Proven track record of leading projects or workstreams independently with measurable impact. • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts to executives. • Strong project management skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously under tight deadlines. • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills, with experience building executive-level deliverables. • Highly motivated, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity — able to set direction in environments with limited structure. • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with analytics tools (SQL, Tableau, Python, etc.) is a plus. • Passion for healthcare and value-based care, with a strong desire to improve outcomes for underserved patients. • Bias for action, urgency, and impact — this is not a role for someone looking for routine or predictability. Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions: • Remote – U.S. Based position. • The total compensation target range for this role is: $115,000 - $130,000.
